My personal feeling is that levels of automation, reliability, navigation performance will continue to advance, probably to the level that the entire flight operation from push-back to parking will be hands-off with very little pilot-aircraft interaction in most cases. But I cannot see modern airline operations being pilot-less in the foreseeable future.
