Bad weather can significantly affect piloting and aircraft operations imposing risks to flight safety, increasing the flight time, and consequently fuel consumption. Low ceiling, fog, and rain can affect visibility at or around an airport. At the same time, thunderstorm and lightning can cause severe turbulence during the flight, damage to the aircraft, injuries to passengers, and even a disaster.
