In this picture I can see an Air France A319. I can see that upon landing the right wing tip hit the ground.
The aircraft is white with blue stripes on the tail. The Air France livery is printed on the fuselage.
It’s a twin engine French airplane.
The wing tip has separated from the aircraft.
In the background I can see many trees, grass, a runway and the sky that appears to be clear.
In the foreground I can just see grass.
This can be caused by:
- Exceeding the aircraft limits upon landing
- Strong cross winds
- Pilot error.
The consequences can be
- A very unsafe landing
- Injuries on board
- A Great cost for the company.
If I were the pilot first I would stop the aircraft on the runway, then I would inform the control about the problem and finally, I would request services.
