The fuselage is white, and the belly seems to be grey.
I can see some passengers on the right-hand wing; it seems to be an emergency evacuation because the flaps are fully extended to assist the passengers in evacuating.
The firefighters are probably on the scene trying to douse the flames because I can see that foam was sprayed around the aircraft.
In the foreground, I can see three passengers; one of them is moving away from the aircraft while the others are just observing.
The weather is probably good, and I suppose it’s a sunny day because I can see the passengers’ shadows reflecting on the fuselage.
In your opinion, what was happening before this picture was taken?
Talking about what was happening before this picture was taken, I assume the pilots were landing when the fire started, maybe due to a system overheat. After that, they stopped the aircraft I guess they commanded an evacuation.
What do you think will happen next?
From my standpoint, the passengers will continue to leave the airplane, and the fire will be extinguished; besides that, the aircraft will be removed and grounded for maintenance.
Do you agree or disagree that Brazilian airports are prepared to deal with situations like this?
Well, I partially agree with this statement. If we consider large airports in Brazil, I believe they are well prepared to deal with situations like this; however, small airports are certainly not adequately prepared.
