In this picture I can see an Airbus A330 that belongs to Aeroflot.

The aircraft fuselage is grey and the tail is blue, white and red. This plane was being de-iced by two de-icing trucks, the trucks are spraying anti-ice fluid over the aircraft.

The trucks are yellow. Infront of the aircraft I can see a man in an orange jacket observing the procedure.

In the background I can see a taxiway, a building, other aircraft and trees.

In the foreground I can see two cars.

This photo was taken in an airport probably in the winter as snow is covering the whole surface of the ground.

The causes of this procedure are to prevent problems during the flight such as engine and control problems.

The consequences can be delays to flights but concerning flight safety there are no consequences.

To de-ice the aircraft they must use a chemical product called glycol so as a chemical it can pollute and contaminate waterways.
