In this picture I can see an American Airliner wide body passenger aircraft. The plane is taking off but the left-hand engine is engulfed in flames.
The aircraft is blue and silver with blue, white and red stripes along the middle of the plane.
The American Airline’s livery is printed on the fuselage and tail. The aircraft has two engines.
The nose landing gear was already airborne but the main landing gear is still on the runway.
In the background I can see many trees maybe its a forest, a hill and a grassy area. I can see that the weather seemed to be ok this happened during the day.
In the foreground I can see a runway, grass and runway signs.
This can be caused by a compressor stall, Foreign Object Damage or a bird ingestion.
The consequences can be an engine explosion, panic onboard and finally, they would need to return immediately and possibly perform an overweight landing.
If I were the pilot first I would continue the takeoff , then I would follow the appropriate checklist, After inform the control, finally, land as soon as possible requesting services after landing.
