In this picture, I can see an MD helicopter with two engines and four seats. I can see this aircraft has four blades, and they are black with red tips.
The helicopter is mostly dark blue and there are details in light blue and yellow that go all the way to the end of the tail boom.
I can see that this model has landing skids.
The registration number is November 5189 Kilo and we can also see Gwinnett printed on the tail boom which is a county in Georgia, USA.
We can see grass in front of the main focus as well as behind. Further back, there are some hangars, and the sky is blue and clear. It’s a sunny day.
Finally, it’s possible to see that the tail boom is broken.
In your opinion, what was happening before this picture was taken?
Before this picture was taken the aircraft was probably performing a normal flight when the pilot made a mistake or lost control and suffered a tail strike, causing the damage we see.
Imagine this picture was taken now, what will happen next?
After that this helicopter will certainly be taken to the maintenance hangar where it will be grounded until the repair is completed. I believe that an investigation to about the causes of the tail strike will take place.
